It's been a while since I updated. I always feel a little bad for not loading a lot of my work, but in the end, it's up to time and my scanner (evil, evil scanner -_-). It gets moody. A lot. Lately though I've been turning to photography, and I admit I'm rather pleased with the success I've been getting out of an old digital camera.

Life has been a different story. There's so many decisions to make, even with a few years left in college it still feels like not enough time compared to the enormous effect these choices may have for the rest of my life. Enough to make anyone paranoid, right? It really makes you think about those little things in life. Moments where a split decision seems so trivial, yet can determine what you'll do later during the day, the month, even the year. The whole reason behind my musing is because of my return back home from college, and reflections on how my life has gone so far since graduating from high school.

I mean, the entirety of my experiences thus far have all been based on one very difficult decision, one that I had at first believed I would regret. And while I'm not one hundred percent sure on where I stand with that decision, for the most part taking chances has opened up a world full of possibilities that I never knew I could experience.

So here's to taking chances - may their returns always shoot for the positive, and may the things that hold us down never do it for long.
